School Board Directors
BETTY SANTOROI have been a resident of Warrington for 23 years. Four years ago, I retired from education after 37 years. During my career, I served as a teacher, principal, director of special education/pupil services, and director of elementary education. My experiences are varied as I have served in the parochial setting, urban setting, and suburban setting.
I earned a Bachelor’s degree from Chestnut Hill College in Elementary Education, a Master’s degree from Villanova University in Educational Administration, a Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility from Arcadia University, and a Doctor of Education from Temple University in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. My dissertation, “Full-Day Kindergarten: A Case Study on the Perceptions of District Leaders in Four Suburban Pennsylvania School Districts”, was published in 2011. My vision for schools is to ensure students learn, thrive, and grow in safe, nurturing, and caring environments. It is pivotal for students to be highly engaged in robust curricula, state of the art technology, and a well rounded education. I believe in strong values, strong communities, along with developing and implementing wise budgets. My entire life has been dedicated to service. I currently serve as the president of my condo association and sit on the Pastoral Council for my church. I enjoy reading, swimming, and playing MahJong. I have an older brother; he and my sister-in-law reside in Medford, New Jersey. |
ROMAN SZEWCZUKI am 32-year Warrington resident. I recently retired from my 35-year career in leadership as an Operations Manager at UPS. I have been a college professor since 2008. I specialize in teaching business, operations, supply chain, and logistics. My priorities are making sure the district runs smoothly and operates to fulfill each student’s academic goals.
As a school board candidate, I support common sense curriculum to provide students with a quality education to help them succeed. I encourage financial transparency with all stakeholders. I also support strong practical measures to ensure school safety in each Central Bucks school building. |
